Dangal 5-day Box Office: No stopping for Aamir Khan film even at overseas market

Dangal is carrying on with its phenomenal run at the Box Office in weekdays as well. The overseas collection done by the Aamir Khan film is also commendable

After doing a phenomenal business at the Box Office, Dangal has registered a dip in its Tuesday collections. The Aamir Khan starrer has collected a total of Rs 23. 07 crore on Tuesday. After its 5-day collection, the film has easily crossed the mark of Rs 155 crore at the Box Office. This is completely commendable as the movie is on its way to breach Rs 300 crore at the Box Office comfortably soon.

Here is the breakup of Dangal domestic Box Office collection after five days:

  • Friday – Rs 29. 78 crore
  • Saturday – Rs 34. 82 crore
  • Sunday – Rs 42. 35 crore
  • Monday – Rs 25. 48 crore
  • Tuesday – Rs 23. 07 crore

Not Sultan now, Dangal seems to be competing with the record of Aamir Khan’s previous film — PK. The Raju Hirani directorial minted a whopping amount of Rs 340 crore (approx) at the Box Office and is still the highest grossing Hindi film ever. With no more releases in the pipeline till 13 January, Dangal has another free week to rake-in more. Also, the Bollywood releases that one has in near future are OK Jaanu and Haraamkhor, which should hamper the success run of the sports-drama really. It is till Shah Rukh Khan’s Raees hit the theatres that Dangal can easily keep enjoying its honourary run on big screens.
