Chef Audience Review: This Saif Ali Khan starrer is yummy and worth tasting

Saif Ali Khan starrer Chef released today and so far the movie has received positive reviews from the audience

With Saif Ali Khan’s delicious release Chef, Bollywood’s gastronomical adventure has arrived! The film which released on Friday, October 6, is inspired by Jon Favreau’s 2014 film of the same name. Chef is a breezy film, centring around the self-discovery of Chef Roshan Kalra (Saif Ali Khan), a Michelin three-star chef from a middle-class family in Chandni Chowk. Roshan’s romance with the culinary world begins when he is just 10. While his father wants him to become an engineer, a young Roshan earnestly wants to learn cooking from the ‘chole bhature wala chacha‘ in his neighbourhood and become a chef.

After the failure of Saif Ali Khan’s last release Rangoon, fans had a lot of expectation from his film Chef, and going by the kind of response the film is getting, it seems the film has aptly clicked with the audience. People who have already watched were quick enough to share their reviews on Twitter. While some of them found the story refreshing, others loved Saif Ali Khan’s performance in the film. A section of the audience also went gaga over the director Raja Krishna Menon.

One of the Twitter users wrote: “Chef is a very beautiful movie with a good message. Raja Menon – You’re a gem. Brilliant director. Saif Ali Khan is superb.”
