Why did Ram Gopal Varma call Amitabh Bachchan the biggest liar?

Ram Gopal Varma has time and again said he has high regards for Amitabh Bachchan. But why did he call the megastar a liar?

It seems Ram Gopal Varma is trying new ways to promote his upcoming directorial Sarkar 3. One of the unique ways that he employed was by interviewing Amitabh Bachchan. The director spoke to his muse but being true to his nature of not mincing words, RGV called Big B a liar. The full interview will be out on 8 May and the teasers hint that it will be a one-of-a-kind talk.

In the teaser of the interview, Ram Gopal Varma asked Amitabh Bachchan if there will be ever another Bachchan. To this Big B replied, “I don’t know why people think like that.” RGV referred to Big B as Sarkar in the interview and asked, “What exactly is a Bachchan?”

One of the most surprising elements of the teaser was when RGV said he was bored of Big B’s modesty. The conversation went as:

RGV: There is this sort of conversation going on that Bachchan is no longer valid.
Big B: I can’t debate somebody’s personal opinion.
RGV: I am not asking a question. I am giving you my answer. I am bored of your modesty.

In yet another promo, Ram Gopal Varma called Amitabh Bachchan a liar.

Taking to Twitter, RGV shared the promos of the interview and we suggest you look at them yourselves. Here are his tweets:

Amitabh Bachchan and Ram Gopal Varma have teamed up again for the third movie of the Sarkar series. In the movie, Big B will reprise his iconic role of Subhash Nagre. The film’s cast has seen new entrants with the likes of Amit Sadh, Yami Gautam, Ronit Roy, Manoj Bajpayee and Jackie Shroff joining it. The trailer of the movie hinted that this time Subhash Nagre will be angrier than ever and his position will be challenged by many. Expectations are already high for the movie and it will be worth seeing if it lives up to that or not.
