After nearly two years of delay, Riteish Deshmukh and Vivek Oberoi starrer Bank Chor will release on June 16. The story is about three people who choose the worst day to rob a bank. Y Films, the sister arm of Yash Raj Films unveiled the motion poster of the delayed flick. The trailer will be unveiled on May 9.
“3 Idiots. 1 Bank. 1 Screwed up day! Are you ready for madness? #BankChor Trailer OUT TOMORROW!” the motion poster read. Directed by Bumpy, the film will release in 16D format and the multiplexes are reportedly modifying the screens so that they can give the viewers a perfect 16D viewing experience. The makers of the film have also planned a medical team at the theatres if the new format leads to health problems for the spectators.
Besides Vivek Oberoi and Riteish Deshmukh, the film also stars Rhea Chakraborty. Rhea, who started out as a VJ, has worked in films like Mere Dad Ki Maruti, Sonali Cable and will also share screen space with Arjun Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor in Half Girlfriend.
There are rumours that Badrinath Ki Dulhania fame actor Sahil Vaid will also play a pivotal role in the film.
On the other hand, Riteish will be hoping that the film turns out to be a successful one. His last release Banjo failed to make an impact at the box office. Vivek Oberoi was last seen in 2016 release Great Grand Masti which tanked at the box office.
