Ranveer Singh, who is known for expressing his feelings and excitement in unique and out of the world ways, announced the news in a very filmy style

After it was confirmed that Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt have come together for Zoya Akhtar’s Gully Boy, their fans just can’t keep calm. Alia-Ranveer’s pairing was highly liked by the audience in Make My Trip TV commercials and now seeing them on the big screen together is surely going to be more fun.

And Ranveer Singh, who is known for expressing his feelings and excitement in a unique and out of the world style, announced the news in a very filmy way.

The actor took to Twitter and shared a video of him using the face swap app and started praising Alia Bhatt in a very funny accent.

In the video, Ranveer said: “I like Alia Bhatt very much. She is cute and a very fine actor. Looking faarward!”

After watching the video, Alia Bhatt also took to social media and said that she is looking ‘double faarward‘ for the film and wrote: “Hahahah everybody totally loves @RanveerOfficial!!!! Looking double faarward GULLY BOY.”

The film is based on the real-life story of Mumbai-based rappers Naezy and Divine, who made their mark to the top after coming out as ‘gully’ rappers straight from the slums of Mumbai. Naezy and Divine are famous for their Mumbai anthems Yeh Mera Bombay and Mere Gully Mein. Both of them have even worked with AIB and Nucleya.
