Varun Dhawan is gearing up for the release of his next Judwaa 2, and before its release, the actor is leaving no stone unturned in promoting the romantic drama. Judwaa 2 is a remake of Salman Khan, Karisma Kapoor, and Rambha starrer Judwaa which hit the screens in 1997. But, did you know that Tabu was also a part of the 1997 Judwaa? Yes, that’s right. Varun Dhawan, who will be seen romancing Taapsee Pannu and Jacqueline Fernandez in the upcoming film made an interesting revelation about Tabu being a part of the 1997 release.
He took to his Instagram account and posted a picture of himself along with the Drishyam actress and revealed that Tabu had dubbed for Rambha’s part in the David Dhawan directorial. Wow, we had no clue about it!
Varun beautifully captioned the picture as:
A week ago I ran into the very beautiful Tabu who was also part of the original Judwaa. She had dubbed for Ramba. So many stories get lost in time. There were so many who were part of the original Judwaa and are responsible for judwaa2 returning to the big screens 20 years later.

Sajid Nadiadwala’s upcoming comedy Judwaa 2, directed by Varun’s father David Dhawan, features the actor in a double role. He will be playing the iconic characters, Raja and Prem, which was originally portrayed by Salman Khan. The film also features two recreated version of popular track Oonchi Hai Building and Tan Tana Tan Tan Taara from the original part. Presented by Fox Star Studios and Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, the film is slated to release on September 29.
