Twinkle Khanna re-shares the same photo of a man defecating on beach to prove her point

Twinkle Khanna has been accused of promoting Akshay Kumar's latest film Toilet: Ek Prem Katha that has done well at the Box Office

Twinkle Khanna has been facing flak for tweeting a photograph of a man squatting on a beach. Despite the incessant trolling, Twinkle re-shared the picture and seems pretty unfazed about the entire fiasco.

“1. I found the timing ironical with ToiletEPK’s release and the OD free certification-If you see the sardonicism in it-fine!If not-so be it,” she tweeted. Twinkle is being criticised for trying to generate publicity for her husband Akshay Kumar’s latest release Toilet: Ek Prem Katha, which is currently having a strong run at the Box Office and has collected more than Rs 116 crore.

While Twinkle is unperturbed by the entire issue, Twitterati are not. Some users criticised her for reposting the pic and suggested that she and her husband instead built toilets for the poor people.”Shame on u, while earning so much in film can’t u go for a drive to built toilets for them,” a user tweeted a reply to her.

“No sardonicism here…You are impinging on the privacy of a person and taking his pic without his permission,” another user commented.

On August 19, Twinkle Khanna had tweeted a picture of the man sitting on the beach with a caption,”Good morning and I guess here is the first scene of Toilet Ek Prem Katha part 2 #WhenYourWalkGoesDownTheToilet.”
