As it turns out, Gal Gadot lost to Tanushree Dutta at the Miss Universe Pageant of 2004. Though, Tanushree also did not win the competition defeated Gal Gadot.
While Tanushree Dutta made it to the top 10 finalists, Gal Gadot was eliminated much earlier. This is a sheer example of how times can turn.
