Sushant Singh Rajput and Jacqueline Fernandez in Karan Johar's new franchise 'Drive'

Drive is a really special film as it will be produced by the one and only Karan Johar and will be directed by Tarun Mansukhani

It is a good news for Sushant Singh Rajput’s fans as the actor has begun shooting for his new project. This is not a regular film, but many big names are associated with the film, as it belongs to none other than the Dharma Productions. Yes, that’s true!

Titled Drive, the film will be the first installment of the franchise and as the name suggests, we can expect a typical action entertainer like Race or Dhoom. The film is really special as it will be produced by the one and only Karan Johar and will be directed by Tarun Mansukhani.

The film will feature Sushant Singh Rajput and Jacqueline Fernandez in the lead role and we are super excited to see Sushant and Jacky romance on the silver screen. It is for the first time that the duo will share the screen space and it won’t be wrong to say that they make a sizzling couple on-screen.

Mansukhani, whose last outing was 2008 hit Dostana, featuring Priyanka Chopra, Abhishek Bachchan, and John Abraham, is super excited to be back after a long gap. He took to Twitter to share his happiness and wrote: 7 years 345 days later… am back on set!!!!

Not only Mansukhani, but Karan Johar also took to social media and shared the first picture from the sets of the film, with Sushant and Jacky showing their back and the actor holding the clipboard in his hand with Drive written on it. In the background, we can also see a swanky orange car, which clearly hints that the movie is all about action, romance, and expensive cars.

Here’s what Karan Johar tweeted:

Well, we are super excited to see Sushant and Jacy romancing on screen!
