Sunny Deol and Ajay Devgn, both are known to have marked their presence on the silver screen with iconic movies like Gadar and Singham respectively. Both Sunny and Ajay share a friendly bond. While most Bollywood actors take up roles independently and without consulting their colleagues, Sunny approached Ajay before signing his upcoming project Si3 (related to Singham).
According to the reports published by a leading daily, a source revealed that Sunny called Ajay before signing Si3. The source said, “but before signing the film, Sunny called Ajay and told him he is doing it. He also told Ajay he won’t use the name Singham anywhere. Ajay was cool with it.
As Rohit Shetty and Ajay Devgn hold the official IPR for the title Singham, Jayantilal Gada from Pen would be remaking the film with a different title. Rohit Shetty and Ajay in the past confirmed that Singham 3 would be an original script and not a remake of films made down south.
While most Bollywood actors tend to copy each other’s characters without having a word with their colleagues, Sunny Deol spoke to Ajay Devgn and signed the film only after taking his consent.
On the work front, both Sunny and Ajay are gearing for their respective releases at the Box Office. Sunny is gearing up for his next outing on the silver screen, Poster Boys. The film features Bobby Deol and Shreyas Talpade in pivotal roles. The Shreyas Talpade directorial is set to hit the screens on September 8. While Ajay is geared up for Baadshaho which is scheduled to hit the theatres on September 1.
