Tej Pratap has previously worked in a Bhojpuri film, that released in 2016. And with this film, he could be in the stellar company of Chirag Paswan, Riteish Deshmukh and Arunoday Singh (sons of Ram Vilas Paswan, Vilasrao Deshmukh and grandson of Arjun Singh respectively) – actors with a political lineage.

The politician-turned-actor was recently in the news, where he could be seen openly addressing his discontentment with the Rashtriya Janta Dal, his father’s political party. He was even heard questioning the way his younger brother Tejashwi, the former Deputy CM of Bihar was running the party. Before joining politics, Tejashwi was a part of the Delhi Daredevils over 3 IPL seasons, but didn’t play a single match.

Tej Pratap, on the other hand, served as a cabinet member in Nitish Kumar’s government. He married Aishwarya Rai, daughter of an RJD leader and grandniece of Mulayam Singh Yadav.

If reports are to be believed, the film will have a local cast, and of course Tej Pratap Yadav will play ‘hero’. Did you even question that?
