Shah Rukh Khan sings 'Ik Kudi' for Diljit Dosanjh. Find out why

Shah Rukh sang the popular song Ik Kudi for Punjabi singer-actor Diljit Dosanjh. Here's why he chose to do so

When it comes to promotional skills, you better not question Shah Rukh Khan’s marketing acumen. The 51-year-old actor is leaving no stone unturned to ensure his latest release Raees gets the maximum buzz. Besides a marathon campaign, King Khan is also urging his close pals in Bollywood to watch the film. One of them is Punjabi singer-actor Diljit Dosanjh.

Raees is facing stiff competition from Hrithik Roshan’s Kaabil which hit the theatres on the same day i.e. 25 January. To ensure that his film does not lag behind in the mega box office war, King Khan is utilising his interpersonal skills to spread the word about his gangster drama. Dosanjh, who won the Filmfare Award for Best Debut for his performance in Udta Punjab, was left awestruck when King Khan sang the song ‘Ik Kudi’ from the film and requested him to watch Raees in Punjab.

“.@diljitdosanjh Sorry for trying to sing paaji but had to tell u how much I love u. Please watch Raees in Punjab with friends,” King Khan posted on Twitter.

Dosanjh was overwhelmed with King Khan’s gesture and promised him that he would definitely go and watch the film with truckloads of people.

Few days ago, Dosanjh had posted on Instagram of him reciting the famous ‘Sheron Ka Zamana’ dialogue from Raees which had gone crazily viral.

Isn’t the bromance between the duo adorable?
