Salman Khan unveils second teaser poster of Tubelight

Salman Khan teams up with Kabir Khan for the third time in 1962 war drama Tubelight

Salman Khan is starring in his upcoming film Tubelight, which will hit the theatres on June 23. The actor shared the latest teaser poster of the 1962 Indo-China war drama.

“Peace, Respect, Love and Light in your life from the Tubelight team,” the actor posted. Directed by Kabir Khan, Salman plays an Indian national who falls in love with a girl from China. The film marks the actor’s third collaboration with Khan after Ek Tha Tiger and Bajrangi Bhaijaan.

The film marks the Bollywood debut of Chinese actor Zhu Zhu, who plays Salman’s love interest. It also features Sohail Khan and the late Om Puri in pivotal roles. Shah Rukh Khan is also doing a cameo in the Eid release. It will be after a long gap of ten years when both the Khans will share the screen space together. On Wednesday, the first teaser poster of the film was released which generated a lot of excitement. But it did not show Salman Khan’s face, leading to curiosity among his fans about the 51-year-old actor’s new look. The second teaser shows him wearing boots around his neck.

Recently, filmmaker Kabir Khan had revealed that the trailer of the much-awaited film will be out in May. When asked about the delay in unveiling the promo, Khan said he did not believe in extended marketing. As long as you are able to get the message out and inform the people about when you are coming up with the film, it is enough, Khan told DNA.
