Naam Shabana trailer: Taapsee Pannu is fierce, kickass and ready to carry film on her shoulders

The trailer of highly awaited film Naam Shabana was released a short while ago and it will definitely add weight to Taapsee Pannu's acting resume

Taapsee Pannu is definitely one of the actresses of Bollywood who has the potential to carry a film solely on her shoulders. After her amazing performance in Pink, she is all set to wow viewers in her upcoming film Naam Shabana. At least, this is what has been asserted by the trailer of the film. Released a short while ago, the trailer is enough to keep you to the edge of the seat since the start.

Naam Shabana tells the story of Taapsee’s character before the film Baby. The trailer shows Taapsee aka Shabana as a quintessential girl whose life undergoes a drastic change after a tragic accident. After the fateful incident, Shabana lets go off her sweetness to embrace fearlessness. The video clip is taken to a new high with Manoj Bajpayee’s stern voice as he directs Taapsee of her next actions. It also gives glimpses of Akshay Kumar and the mission in which he was accompanied by Taapsee in Baby.

There is no dearth of heavy duty action in the trailer hinting that the same pattern in the film. Another fact which the trailer asserts is that Taapsee Pannu will be seen as an actress who can perform action sequences with ease, after this film.

Naam Shabana also features few actors of the first film Baby including Anupam Kher and Danny Denzongpa. The film also features Prithviraj Sukumaran in the negative lead.

Directed by Shivam Nair and written by Neeraj Pandey, the spy thriller is slated for a release on 31 March.
