Taapsee Pannu starrer Naam Shabana is unlike any Bollywood film you might have seen. The film features the protagonist as a spy and the movie will definitely add to more weight to Taapsee’s acting resume. Directed by Shivam Nair, the movie is the spin-off of 2015 release Baby and is centered around Shabana Khan’s story. If you have seen Baby, you would remember that Shabana Khan kicked few people and came out as a strong woman.

But little did anyone know about what made Shabana the spy, who gave a hard time to terrorists. Naam Shabana is the film that tells the story of Shabana and develops her character. If you thought, Shabana was always like this and had a yearning to be a part of the secret agency, you are mistaken. Shabana was just like any girl but it was a fateful incident that forced her to become a spy.

The trailer hinted how her boyfriend was murdered and went on a path to seek revenge. It should also be noted that Naam Shabana puts the spotlight on Taapsee Pannu despite having an ensemble cast of Anupam Kher, Rana Daggubati, Manoj Bajpayee and Prithviraj Sukumaran.
Made on a budget of Rs 20 crore, the film is expected to have a decent opening at the Box Office.
