Naam Shabana Box Office Collection Day 6: Taapsee Pannu's film proves its worth, earns Rs 25 crore

Taapsee Pannu’s latest release Naam Shabana has proved to be one of her best career choices. After delivering a power packed performance in her last release Pink, the actress has again proved her worth with this film. Naam Shabana proves that Taapsee can carry a film completely on her shoulders and she is one of the best actresses we have in the industry.

Naam Shabana is moving ahead strongly at the box office, not only domestically but in the international market as well. In just one week of its release, the film has emerged as a winner and has made its place amongst the top mid-budget releases of this year.

In just 6 days of its release, Naam Shabana has done a business of Rs 25.60 crores so far. Made on a budget of around Rs 35 crore, the film was released in 2100 screens and witnessed a great opening on its first weekend. And with its first weekend figures, Naam Shabana has surpassed the collection of Phillauri, OK Jaanu and Commando 2.

Directed by Shivam Nair and written by Neeraj Pandey, spy-thriller Naam Shabana is a prequel to 2015 hit film Baby. In the film, we got to see Taapsee Pannu doing some mind-blowing action sequences and this bold look of her impressed everyone.

The actress underwent an intense training session and apart from enrolling in kickboxing, Taapsee also joined some other fitness classes to get into the skin of her character. The film also stars  Akshay Kumar, Manoj Bajpayee, Anupam Kher, Danny Denzongpa, Eli Avram and South actor Prithviraj Sukumaran in important roles.

  • Friday: Rs 5.12 crore
  • Saturday: Rs 6.37 crore
  • Sunday: Rs 7.27 crore
  • Monday: Rs 2.54 crore
  • Tuesday: Rs 2.50 crore
  • Wednesday: Rs 1.80 crore
