Jolly LLB 2 celeb review: Akshay Kumar wins hearts with his honest and entertaining performance

Akshay Kumar's Jolly LLB 2 is being highly praised by the film fraternity and is winning hearts everywhere. Here's what our celebs have to say about it

Akshay Kumar’s Jolly LLB 2 released on Friday and the film is being highly praised by the film fraternity. The movie is a sequel to Arshad Warsi’s 2013 courtroom comedy drama- Jolly LLB and is in limelight from the very beginning for some or other reasons.

Jolly LLB 2 was recently under the judicial scanner after a petition was filed in the Bombay High Court saying that the film shows the judicial system under bad light. Despite being passed by the CBFC with no cuts, the film was finally released with 4 cuts after the much-hyped court drama.

But keeping all this aside, Akshay Kumar’s performance is winning hearts even before its release as the film fraternity and his industry friends have taken to social media and the congratulatory messages have not stopped since then.

Directed by Subhash Kapoor, the movie is said to be completely different from its prequel. Akshay will be seen sporting a thick mustache and a red tika throughout the film and will tickle your funny bones in his lawyer avatar.

Jolly LLB 2 is a story of a struggling, blunt and yet oddly compassionate Jagdishwar Mishra, aka Jolly, who has moved from Kanpur to the City of Nawabs, Lucknow, to become a big lawyer. The movie also stars Huma Qureshi, Annu Kapoor, and Saurabh Shukla in prominent roles.

And before you book the tickets, here’s what our celebs have to say  about this film:

The best part about Comicstaan is that a bad performance is mitigated to four minutes. As against having to endure a badly written hour-long special.
