Jagga Jasoos, the latest detective comedy starring Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif is enjoying a successful run at the Box Office. The Anurag Basu directorial that hit the theatres on July 14, earned Rs 13.07 crore on the third day. It is expected that the film will earn more in the upcoming days.
On the day of its theatrical release, Jagga Jasoos earned Rs 8.57 crore followed by Rs 11.53 crore on Day 2. Now, the total collection stands at Rs 33.17 crore. This Friday, there are two releases with Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Tiger Shroff’s Munna Michael clashing with Lipstick Under My Burkha. It will be interesting to see how Ranbir and Katrina’s chemistry fares during competition with these two films in the next weekend.
The factor that worked well with Jagga Jasoos that it has received a positive response from the viewers. If only the length would be shorter, it would have been much better. Recently, Ranbir revealed that if the film received a good response, he and co-producer Anurag Basu might think about the next instalment. However, the actor said that he would compensate the distributors if the film failed to perform as per the expectations.

Katrina, who turned 34 on July 16, is currently in the US wherein she attended the IIFA 2017 Award 2017. She will share the screen space with Salman Khan in Tiger Zinda Hai, that releases on December 22. It is a sequel to the 2012 blockbuster Ek Tha Tiger wherein she played an ISI agent Zoya. The spy thriller directed by Ali Abbas Zafar also features Angad Bedi, Paresh Rawal, Girish Karnad and Kumud Mishra.
