Rana Daggubati and K K Menon starrer The Ghazi Attack is surprisingly emerging as a strong competition for Akshay Kumar’s courtroom drama film Jolly LLB 2. Touted as India’s first underwater film, The Ghazi Attack has an intriguing plotline and this has definitely pulled the audience to the theaters. Here is The Ghazi Attack box office report.
Directed by Sankalp, the movie is known for its ensemble star cast that boasts of names like Taapsee Pannu, Atul Kulkarni, and late Om Puri. The power packed performances and a gripping storyline has pulled the audience to big screens. The movie was a slow starter due to its clash with Akshay Kumar’s Jolly LLB 2 but then, contrary to the critic’s expectation, the movie found its stronghold at the box office.

It is stated that the film is loosely base on the book Blue Fisher. The movie narrates the sinking of Pakistani submarine PNS Ghazi which was given a mission to capture Visakhapatnam coast by destroying INS Vikrant.
Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh took to his Twitter account to share the magic number for the film. He wrote, “#Ghazi continues to score in USA… Has a robust Mon… Mon $ 48,447. Total: $ 496,095 [₹ 3.32 cr]. @Rentrak”

Continuing to praise the box office run of the film, he added, “#TheGhaziAttack – All versions: Fri 4.25 cr, Sat 5.25 cr, Sun 6.25 cr, Mon 3.65 cr. Total: ₹ 19.40 cr.”

However, it needs to be seen how the movie will fare this week as Vishal Bharadwaj’s Rangoon hits the theaters. The ace director is back with the ensemble cast of Shahid Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan, and Kangana Ranaut. Going by the track record of Vishal Bharadwaj’s films, we feel that Akshay’s Jolly LLB 2 and The Ghazi Attack will be hit hard at the box office this week.
