Does Shah Rukh Khan's T-Shirt have something to do with his character in Raees?

Just when we thought that Jehangir Khan of Dear Zindagi is the best role Shah Rukh Khan has played recently, he bowled us over with his Raees look. With just two days left for the trailer launch of his upcoming film, the superstar is leaving no stone unturned to promote Raees.

Directed by Rahul Dholakia, Raees is set in the backdrop of the situation in Gujarat in 1980s and will see Shah Rukh playing the role of a wicked bootlegger. The film also marks the Bollywood debut of Pakistani actress Mahira Khan.

Last week, SRK released a video in which he announced the trailer launch date and said that he will be interacting live with his fans. It is also being speculated that the trailer will be streamed on 3,500 screens across India and King Khan will be accompanied by his co-star Nawazuddin Siddiqui for the launch.

Recently, the actor surprised his fans in a riveting way and left them wondering with just one selfie. Shah Rukh took to Twitter on Sunday and posted a selfie in which he was seen sporting a t-shirt with the caption written on it: Battery nahi bolne ka

While we were still debating if this statement has something to do with his character in the film or is just another promotional activity, Shah Rukh made it clear that the caption defines Raees in the film and wrote on Twitter:

Meanwhile, trade analyst Taran Adarsh in his tweet confirmed that Rakesh Roshan has decided to change the release date of son Hrithik Roshan’s Kaabil, which was to be released with Raees on January 26 next year to avoid the clash. Hrithik’s movie will now release on January 25, a day before its scheduled release.
