Dia Mirza's latest statement on sequel to Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein with R Madhavan will set your heart racing

Dia Mirza hinted she was keen to do a sequel of her debut film Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein opposite R Madhavan

Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein, also abbreviated as RHTDM, was a runaway success of 2001. More than its exploits at the Box Office, the romantic drama acquired a cult status and is remembered by those born in the ’90s with extreme fondness. Directed by Gautham Menon, the film marked the Bollywood debuts of R Madhavan and Dia Mirza while Saif Ali Khan played a supporting role in the film.

In the present scenario when several yesteryear films have either been remade or had sequels, fans have often raised questions whether RHTDM would have the second instalment or not. Well, Dia recently dropped a hint saying that the film might have a sequel in future.

“This film is extremely special for me and Madhavan. We are humbled by the immense love we have continuosuly received till date. I am pretty certain that before we get old, we will definitely do a sequel,” Dia told TOI Entertainment. It is an interesting and exciting thought and we are thinking in this direction as well, the former Miss Asia Pacific remarked.
