Baahubali 2 Box Office collection day 4: SS Rajamouli's film passes the crucial Monday test, earns Rs 168 crores so far

Baahubali: The Conclusion is roaring at the Box Office. While it was expected that Baahubali 2 will perform immensely well at the Box Office, no one deciphered that it would be so strong. Such is the craze that Baahubali indulged that it ran to houseful theaters in on the first Monday as well. Despite yesterday being the first working day of the week, Baahubali: The Conclusion continued to attract cine-goers to the cinemas.

In week one of its release, the Hindi version of the film did a business of Rs 41 crore on Friday, Rs 40.50 crore on Saturday, Rs 46.50 crore on Sunday and Rs 40.25 crore on Monday, minting a total of Rs 168.25 crores so far.

This SS Rajamouli directorial had generated a lot of buzz because of the preqeul Baahubali: The Beginning. Everyone wanted to know the answer to the question: Why did Kattappa kill Baahubali? But apart from this million dollar question, the movie told about many other aspects of the main characters of Mahishmati.

The movie spoke about the jealousy which Bhallala Deva (Rana Daggubati) had with his cousin Amrendra Baahubali (Prabhas). It showed the romance between Baahubali and Devasena (Anushka Shetty). It also showed how the ego clash between Devasena and Sivagami (Ramya Krishnan) spelled doom for the prosperous kingdom.

Critics heaped praises on the movie and said that everyone should watch the movie because of the cinematic treat it gave viewers. With Baahubali 2, Rajamouli gave a new definition to grand. He took care of every small detail in the movie and the result was sheer perfection.

Viewers were in awe of Rajamouli’s imagination and it was the positive word of mouth that helped the movie more. And the blockbuster is showing no signs of slowing down.
