Alia Bhatt took to Instagram to share a photo of Karan Johar on the latter's birthday today. This picture is further proof of the love between Alia and KJo

Alia Bhatt and Karan Johar are much more than muse and the director. They have stood by each other through thick and thin. Alia and Karan are best buddies and more than that- they are family. So on Karan Johar’s birthday today, Alia Bhatt took to Instagram to write a rather emotional post. In the post, the Badrinath Ki Dulhania actress wrote that Karan was her favourite person.

While sharing a candid picture of her and Karan, Alia wrote on the photo sharing platform, “Happy Birthday to my most favourite person in the whole world! @karanjohar you’re my friend, my father, my teacher and last but not the least you’re my in house fashion police ( the only one that matters ) hahah I don’t know what I’d do without you!!! Love you karan  #happybirthdaykaran”

Alia and Karan’s association started way back in 2012 when the Dharma Productions head honcho gave her a break in Student Of The Year.Though, Karan Johar later admitted that SOTY was not a movie which did him proud, but his love for Ali only grew with each passing day.

After that Alia Bhatt starred in many movies produced by Dharma Productions, the latest one being Badrinath Ki Dulhania. The movie marked the third on-screen outing of Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt. The movie went on to become a hit and was lauded for its content and the way it spoke about women related issues.

It goes without saying that Alia Bhatt and Karan Johar are a perfect team. Here is Alia’s post for the ace filmmaker:
