After Alia Bhatt, now Karan Johar opens up about Kangana Ranaut’s nepotism remark

In a live chat session on twitter with his fans, Karan Johar was asked whether Kangana was correct about nepotism and here's what the filmmaker said

Kangana Ranaut is known to speak her mind and most of the times many of her sensational statements make headlines. Recently, the actress went to Karan Johar’s celebrity chat show Koffee With Karan to promote her latest release Rangoon and she was on fire.

Kangana didn’t leave any opportunity to take a dig at Karan Johar and also called him ‘the flag-bearer of nepotism’. And out of all statements, her nepotism remark gained most of the attention, so and so that not only Karan Johar but Alia Bhatt also spoke about it.

In an interview with Mid Day, the junior Bhatt said that she agrees with the fact that star kids can get their first film due to nepotism, but people do struggle to make a mark in the industry and it’s not completely right to blame nepotism.

Clearly, Alia was not very pleased with Kangana’s remark and very sarcastically said that she didn’t plan her birth in the Bhatt family. Karan Johar too seemed a bit disappointed with the actress. In a live chat session on twitter with his fans, KJo was asked whether Kangana was correct about nepotism, to which Johar replied:

Not entirely! She made an impact with her sweeping statements! That was fun…for her! And the show…. https://t.co/ih43hK58S7

After which someone asked him if he is obsessed with star kids, and without saying much Karan just wrote ‘ask Kangana’.

Well, after this response from KJo one thing is for sure that Kangana’s remark didn’t go down well with Karan.
