Bollywood’s timeless diva Rekha turns 62 today, 10 October. The actress has ruled the hearts of many with her spectacular performances in the film industry. She has been in the industry for nearly 45 years and has worked on around 180 projects. With her never-dying on screen charm, Rekha delivered some of the finest performances and received many prestigious awards.
Rekha entered in the industry as a child artiste. And her Bollywood film — Anjana Safar garnered the limelight before its release due to Rekha’s kissing scene with actor Biswajeet in it. “Why just one particular day? I don’t believe in celebrating Diwali, Eid, or Christmas either. For me, every single day is a blessing and a boon. And I want to squeeze every drop of life, out of every single day. Every night, when you sleep, you’re dying for the day, only to wake up the next morning with a new life. Hence, every day is an udhaar (credit). Because you never know about the next moment; you can be on the set shooting a rain sequence, and you can be electrocuted.”
