Bigg Boss 10: In a season full of filth, Manu-Manveer's friendship is the silver lining

In the ongoing tenth season of Bigg Boss contestants Manu Punjabi and Manveer Gujjar are the only silver lining in a show that has no dearth of filth

The high-octane reality show, Bigg Boss is in its tenth season and has given enough fodder for people to talk about. As far as TRP ratings are concerned, the show is not performing well. This, despite the fact that Salman Khan returned as a host for the sixth time and the makers brought a twist when they opened the gates of the house for common people. Even a lot of buzz that was generated before it aired, couldn’t help Bigg Boss 10.

The ratings dipped and viewers got irritated with the antics of inmates Priyanka Jagga and Swami Om. These two qualified for the most notorious contestants of this season and contributed in making the season unlikable by viewers. There were fights, lewd comments were passed, and mostly everyone lost their cool because of them.

While the season didn’t see any dearth of filth, there is probably only one silver lining in the season — the friendship of Manu Punjabi and Manveer Gujjar.

Both these commoners bonded on the first day itself and the friendship became stronger with every passing day. Manu and Manveer stood by each other in the show where people make friends for convenience. In the previous seasons of the show, we have seen how contestants have sacrificed their friendships to save themselves from the nominations.

But Manu and Manveer come as a breath of fresh air. Their bond is as true as it can get and selfishness is an emotion none of them are aware of. It is really amazing to see such a kind of bond on the television screen where feelings hold less to no importance.

Notably, Manu and Manveer aren’t each other’s greatest fans on the show. They have been seen disagreeing with each other on more than one instances but that hasn’t hindered their bond.

At the end, it is them against the world and we wholeheartedly thank them for bringing such a true and innocent friendship on the small screen.
