Ayesha Takia is back and looks unrecognisable. Could plastic surgery be the reason?

Ayesha Takia's lips sure look swell, quite literally!

Remember ‘Dor’ actress Ayesha Takia? Well, she looks nothing like you must remember now. She was seen at an event last night, and nobody can get over how she reeks of having gone under the knife. Seen for the first time after a very long time, Takia sure made heads turn with her drastically changed looks.

While several among us would agree the actor had been pretty even previously, her excessively pouty swollen lips and lifted face gave rise to speculations of botox sneaked under the skin. Not seen in films after her marriage to Farhan Azmi followed by motherhood. Here are a few of her Instagram posts where she is nearly unrecognizable for any of us who have seen her previously. We cannot decide if going under the knife has done her any good or not and maybe you’d be able to after seeing how she looks now.

The actress revealed she is currently working on a film called Borivali Ka Bruce Lee, which is slated for release by the end of this year. She also spoke of how she is reading scripts and it remains to be seen if she went under the knife as part of her comeback. The actress has always maintained that family and motherhood are a priority but she is open to doing films as well. As of now, we’d have a tough time recognizing her even if was to star in a movie so we’re glad this even happened and we got introduced to her new avatar well in advance!
