Ajay Devgn hints at Dabangg and Singham crossover and we are declaring it a blockbuster already

Ajay Devgn talks about the possibilities of him teaming with Salman Khan on a Singham and Dabangg crossover and we are already excited for this one.

Ajay Devgn has acted in several two-hero films that include Ishq, Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, Omkara, Once Upon A Time In Mumbai as well as his upcoming film, Baadshaho. While the actor has never been skeptical about signing a two hero film, he isn’t too sure why the younger lot of actors are not keen on signing on for the big multi-starrers.

In an interview for the promotions of Baadshaho, when Devgn was asked as to why the trend of two hero films is slowly taking a back seat, the actor said,

“I wonder why but I think budget is the concern here. As far as our generation is concerned, we won’t mind acting in a two hero film. We keep discussing with each other if a collaboration is possible. I can’t comment on the young generation, but we are open to act in a two hero film.”

Ajay Devgn and Salman Khan have acted in two of the most iconic cop films made in this decade i.e. Singham and Dabangg. The two actors gave a new arch to the characters of Bajirao Singham and Chulbul Pandey. When asked if there could ever be a crossover between the two films, given the fact that both of them are set in the same space, Devgn said,

“We have spoken about that. Salman and I have discussed the possibility of making a Singham Dabangg cross-over. Let’s see. We should get the script. The script should justify coming together of the two characters. If we get a script, we would definitely make a film.”

Incidentally, despite them being huge hits, the sequel to Singham and Dabangg failed to recreate the magic of their first installment, and the makers of both the films are now on a hunt for a fresh subject for part 3. We wonder if any writer could come up with a script that impresses both Salman Khan and Ajay Devgn?
