He never let his fans down in any form.

As I had put on so much weight in so less time, I was keeping a tab on my health. I made sure to have the blood test in every three weeks. It was all over the place the parameters, but they were not in the red zone. A lot of things went wrong, my cholesterol level went high and then even my breathing got affected. My doctor has warned me to not to try anything like this in future.”

During the transformation journey, I had a lot of injuries. From my ankle, back and shoulder to elbows, every part of my body was injured. However, none of these injuries made me stop from shooting, except the time when my back was injured. Though doctors asked me to rest for two months, I was back to work in two weeks. I used to take painkiller injections to shoot a few scenes.

When I was getting fat, I used to feel horrible to look myself in the mirror. However, I enjoyed putting on weight coz I ate everything I wanted. However, I panicked when it came to losing weight. I thought this time I won’t manage it and was worried. Later I though to myself the key to success was to take one step a day and forget about the end result.

Both my wife Kiran and my mom were worried about the transformation. But I knew that I will get into the shape and complete the shoot.  Every Sunday, I used to have my measurements and then my dietitian was sent details about my weight and health.

I have even started smoking, I am quite stressed to see the final copy of the film.
