1971 Bharatha Sarihaddu: Action packed Telugu teaser of Mohanlal, Major Ravi, Allu Sirish film out

1971 Bharatha Sarihaddu, directed by Major Ravi and produced by Haneef Mohammed, the film is a Telugu dubbed version of Mohanlal's Vishu release, 1971 Beyond Borders

The official teaser of Mohanlal’s upcoming Telugu release, 1971 Bharatha Sarihaddu is out. The film has been directed by Major Ravi and produced by Haneef Mohammed. 1971 Bharatha Sarihaddu  is a Telugu dubbed version of Mohanlal’s blockbuster Vishu release, 1971 Beyond Borders. The film also stars Telugu actor Allu Sirish and the Mohenjodaro fame Bollywood actor Arunodhay Singh.

The 45-second-long-teaser shows the major action sequences from the film featuring Mohanlal, Allu Sirish and Arunodhay Singh. Mohanlal will be seen in dual roles in the film as Major Mahadevan and Major Sahadevan where as actors Allu Sirish and Arunodhay Sing will essay the roles of Lieutenant Chinmay and  Lieutenant Colonel Rana Sharif respectively. From the teaser, it looks like 1971 Bharatha Sarihaddu is a film with patriotism as its backdrop and a non-linear style of editing.

Interestingly, 1971 Bharatha Sarihaddu is Mohanlal’s fourth Telugu release in 8 months. His previous Telugu releases, Janatha Garage, Manyam Puli and Kanupapa were clean blockbusters at the Tollywood Box Office. Also, the success stories of these films has inspired the makers to release the film simultaneously along with its original version, 1971 Beyond Borders on 7 April 2017.

1971 Bharatha Sarihaddu is set in two time periods and depicts the story of the India – Pakistan war of 1971. The film also marks the fourth installment of Major Mahadevan series. Earlier, Mohanlal had portrayed the same role in the Major Ravi’s previous films including Keerthi Chakra, Kurukshetra, and Kandahar.

1971 Bharatha Sarihaddu also stars Renji Panicker, Sudheer Karamana, Saiju Kurup, Krishna Kumar, Manikuttan, Padmaraj Ratheesh, Priyanka Agarwal and Zoya Zayed Khan.
