The Internet can’t help but cheer at this video of a 5-year-old being encouraged to not give up during his karate class. The video shows the kid, Phoenix Swonger, from Florida, repeatedly trying to break a tile but failing. Disheartened after failing several times he even breaks down. But with the continuous encouragement of his instructor and classmates, he breaks the tile receiving massive cheers and celebratory hugs.
This video posted by Phoenix’s mother Claudia went immediately viral with 22 million views. “My boy learned one of the most important lessons in his life today. Never ever give up,” she wrote in the post.
