With growing awareness about animal abuse across the world, many NGOs have stepped up to rescue stray dogs and stop mishandling. The growing trend has also called for the adoption of stray animals and stop animal testing. Many hashtags like #AdoptDontShop and #TheirLivesMatter have been trending for a long time and thanks to animal activists and even the social media, there is an emerging surge for helping, rescuing and sheltering pets. Many people have come together and taken the initiative to rescue, provide medical care and lots of love to animals and the result is very evident. More and more people are adopting, and there has been a substantial increase those seeking out shelter homes for rescue animals.
