Xiaomi Redmi 4 to go sale on Amazon India and mi.com today

Xiaomi Redmi 4 is up for sale on e-retail website Amazon India and mi.com in India on Tuesday. Amazon India is also offering special discounts on other Mi devices on the purchase of the Redmi 4. Check out the details here

Xiaomi’s flagship device Xiaomi Redmi 4 is up for sale on e-retail website Amazon India and mi.com in India on Tuesday. The Chinese electronics giant launched the smartphone in India earlier this month and now the phone is up for sale starting at Rs 6,998. While the device with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal memory is available for Rs 6,999, the phone with 3GB RAM and 32GB memory is available for Rs 8,999. Both the variants are available in Black and Rose Gold variants on both Amazon India and Mi.com.

Amazon India is also offering special launch offer on the purchase of the Redmi 4 smartphone. While users will get up to Rs 5,000 off on booking flights and hotels from Goibibo, Vodafone subscribers will get 45 GB data free for 5 months on purchase of the smartphone. Also, Kindle users can sign in to the Kindle app to get Rs 200 promotion credit for Kindle books.

Apart from the launch offer, Amazon is also offering bumper discounts on other Xiaomi devices. While users can purchase original Mi case for Redmi 4 smartphone for just Rs 349, original Mi headphones are available for Rs 599 only. Xiaomi is also offering special offers on the purchase of Redmi 4 from its website, wherein MobiKwik users will get 10 percent super cash on all Mi products.

In terms of specifications, Xiaomi Redmi 4 is powered by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 SoC and runs on MIUI 8, which is based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The smartphone sports a 5-inch HD display which is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass protection. The phone comes with a 13 MP rear camera with PDAF, 5-element lens and real-time filters and a 5MP front-facing camera with 36 smart beauty profiles and selfie countdown.

Redmi 4 comes with three hybrid slots, out of which 2 can be used for storing SIM cards. The internal memory can be expanded up to 128 GB via a microSD card. The phone supports 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS for connectivity and comes with a 4,100 mAh powerful battery.
