The new iPhone case ‘feels’ like an actual butt

HandL has released a new Apple iPhone 7 Plus cover that is shaped like a human butt. Priced at $70, it is available for shipping in Canada, UK and Europe. Check out the details inside

Up until now, we have seen many weird iPhone cases. While some iPhone cases are full of glitter, others are made of gold (literally). Then there are other cases that look like old video cassettes and some even look like freaking unicorns straight from the Disney land.  But now, HandL has unveiled a new iPhone case that looks (and feels) like an actual human butt (no, we’re not kidding!).

HandL’s ‘Butt Case’ has been designed by a New York-based designer Allen Hirsch, who first unveiled this unique case at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2017 in January. Hirsch has designed many iPhone cases for HandL in the past that feature a standard flat back along with a brace system that allows the users to hold their phones with just two fingers. What inspired him to pick up such a ‘unique’ design was the grip that ordinary cases fail to provide.

The ‘Butt Case’ is tactile, ergonomic, anatomic and weirdly comfortable. The case is ‘not sexual’, “but the most pleasurable form for the hand to touch. I also wanted to connect the digital world we often lose ourselves in with an idealised real world tactile experience,” Hirsch said.

What makes the ‘Butt Case’ so comfortable to hold is the fact that it has been made of high-quality silicone and synthetic rubber. The company has even guaranteed to return the money if the case doesn’t feel like buttocks (wow, so confident!). Priced at $70 (Rs 4500 approx), the case is available for iPhone 6 Plus and iPhone 7 Plus. Although the case is available for delivery in Canada, Western Europe and the UK, you can email the company to discuss time and pricing.
