Ok, this might seem borderline creepy but wouldn’t you want to know if any of your friends is nearby so that you can catch up with him over a cup of coffee? If your answer is yes, the feature that you are looking for is called– Nearby Friends. Your friend might not have turned on the location feature on his/her smartphone, but the good news is that you don’t need it anyway.
You can turn the feature on your Android smartphone by following these steps:
Tap on the drop-down option in your app> Tap on Nearby Friends> Tap yes to turn it on.

You might have kept your phone on high-security settings but that doesn’t mean that Facebook doesn’t know what’s going on with you. Facebook’s AI constantly tracks your online behaviour to learn your likes and dislike. The end result is that you end up watching those cookery tutorials in a loop (yep, it knows everything). You can use ‘Disconnect’ extension on Chrome if you don’t want Facebook and its partners to know much about you.

Facebook monitors your privacy settings

Again, it might sound like a bad thing but in reality, it is a good feature. How? Well, Facebook constantly tracks your privacy settings so that your account information remains safe. You must have seen ‘privacy checkup’ tool popping up every now and then giving you an update about the health of your security settings. Well, take it seriously unless you want your private information getting in wrong hands.
