Game of Thrones has never been easy to handle but the latest episode went a little over the edge. Season 7 episode 6 “Beyond The Wall” showed the “Suicide Squad” heading North of The Wall in an attempt to capture a wight to prove to people down South that the enemy is real. A plan so clever, it truly boggles our mind. Anyway, things obviously don’t go as planned thanks to the Hound behaving like a 6-year-old, but all that’s cool ’cause- Drogon Ex-Machina.
With the season finale coming up, as well as the series finally next year, HBO is rushing us through the show so quickly, everything literally feels like a blur. There are plot holes so deep the Night King would have drowned, there are sequences that seem impossible even in a show which boasts of dragons and most importantly, the ‘heroes’ on whom we depend to set things right (looking at you Arya, Jon, Tyrion, Dany) have seemingly lost the will to think and act coherently.
So anyway – it was all fun and games until the Night King sets his eyes on Viserion and decides that he wants a dragon for himself. Meanwhile, the battle cry for ‘Jonerys’ intensifies as Daenerys and Jon bond over their mutual fear and hatred towards the White Walkers. Basically, it turned out to be the most excruciatingly annoying and yet exciting episode of this season and yes, Twitter couldn’t contain all their feels either.
