Priyanka Chopra to perform with The Chainsmokers? Get details

Priyanka Chopra performing with The Chainsmokers in India would probably be the biggest pop culture occurrence this year.

The Chainsmokers are all set to perform in India later this year and the excitement has just doubled. Apparently, our desi girl will probably be joining the American DJ duo for the performance. The Chainsmokers will be following after Justin Bieber’s Purpose tour in the summer this year. This is the second time that the duo consisting of Andrew Taggart and Alex Pall will be performing in India.

It has already been confirmed that Bollywood celebs like Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan and Malaika Arora will be present at the event. But with Priyanka Chopra in collaboration? They will completely bowl you over. Actually, owing to the rising speculations regarding the rumoured collaboration, The Chainsmokers were asked to clarify on the subject to which, Alex Pall stated, “We don’t know any details yet. But as far as a collaboration goes, you never know.”

Priyanka Chopra has previously collaborated with The Chainsmokers for their song “Erase”

For those of you who don’t know, if Priyanka Chopra does end up performing with The Chainsmokers, it would not be the first time that they will be working together. Earlier, Priyanka Chopra had collaborated with The Chainsmokers for their song “Erase” which was released back in 2014.

While Priyanka joining the duo remains uncertain, The Chainsmokers have stated that they will be working with a few Indian artistes and will be meeting with them ahead of the concert to prep for the big event.

The Chainsmokers will be coming to Mumbai and Delhi as part of the Road To Ultra: India event. The duo will be performing at Mahalaxmi Race Course in Mumbai on September 7 and will move on to Delhi the next day where they will take the stage at the India Exposition Mart Limited. The tickets for the grand performance will be priced at Rs 2,500 onwards.
