There’s Now A Taimur Doll Because We’re Legit A Nation Of Creeps

Styled in a blue Nehru jacket and a white kurta, the doll looks almost similar to the kid.

The country’s majorly disturbing obsession with Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan’s son, Taimur, unfortunately, continues unabated.  As if galleries of the little kid waving, walking, smiling, not smiling and being a child, in general, wasn’t enough, there’s now a Taimur-inspired doll.

Filmmaker Ashvini Yardi (known for movies like OMG – Oh My God! and Singh Is Bliing), recently spotted the toy designed like Taimur and posted on Twitter, “Meanwhile at a toy store in Kerala.”

Styled in a blue Nehru jacket and a white kurta, the doll looks eerily similar to the two-year-old star kid. Well, the opinion of people on Twitter is pretty divided.

While some are calling the doll, ‘next level creepy’, some do find it adorable. Others, like us, are simply shocked that anyone thought making a lookalike doll of an actual baby (obviously without the parents’ approval), could be considered anything but creepy. ‘How is this even allowed?’, asked some on Twitter. We get the sentiment:

Here are some of the reactions:

This one’s going to buy it soon

Well deserved!! i mean he is a DOLL

Yes, maybe

This is also highly disturbing that people would buy a toy that looks like someone’s child and give that to their kids to play with or just buy it and collect it. Next level creepy? I think yes.
