Sachin Tendulkar thanks WWE Indian star Jinder Mahal for inviting him to WWE LIVE in Delhi

Jinder Mahal is in India promoting the event to take place at Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium. He ensured that the Sachin Tendulkar and his son attend the event

Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar and his son Arjun today met the Modern-Day Maharaja and current WWE Champion Jinder Mahal in Mumbai. Mahal visited Sachin’s home to personally invite him and his son to the WWE LIVE event which will take place in New Delhi at the Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium on 8th & 9th December. The father and son also received “Modern day Maharaja” t-shirts.

Sachin was extremely happy meeting the Indian WWE star and receiving the invite. He thanked Mahal on the social media and stated the entire nation is proud of him. Sachin took to his official Twitter account and wrote,”You make us proud @JinderMahal. Thanks for inviting us to #WWELIVE in Delhi! The WWE fans will see you on Dec. 8th!”

The show in December is going to feature the Indian wrestler Mahal wherein the main event he will take on former Universal champion Kevin Owens for the WWE Championship. He will be accompanied by The Singh Brothers, Sunil Singh and Samir Singh. Moreover, the other Superstars to make the trip to the national capital are Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose, Braun Strowman, Alexa Bliss, Sasha Banks and more.

Jinder Magal made his comeback in the WWE last year after being released in 2014. His return was a complete surprise and then he became the no. 1 contender for Randy Orton’s WWE Championship. He defended the title against Orton at WWE Money in the Bank and WWE Battleground before coming out on top against Shinsuke Nakamura at WWE Summerslam and WWE Hell in a Cell.

He also became the 50th WWE Champion after defeating the Viper at WWE Backlash.
