Ravi Shastri walks into the field, Twitteratti felt he was going to BEAT somebody. It’s HILARIOUS!

At stumps on Day 2, Sri Lanka trail by 405 runs with 7 wickets remaining in the 1st innings

Ravi Shastri walking into the field during the game was what hogged the limelight after of course the Delhi smog intervened and played spoilsport for 17 long minutes. What it did was, break Virat Kohli’s concentration. Virat Kohli could only add 3 runs after play resumed after the smog halt and soon we saw an angry Ravi Shastri enter the field to have a word with the on-field umpires.

So, here is how it started:

Sri Lankan player, an hour after lunch started donning masks to negate the smog that was prevalent. Dinesh Chandimal and a few others complained to the umpires of eye irritation. They stretched it too far and that is what compelled Ravi Shastri to step into the field. It was clearly visible that the guests are meaningly trying to waste the time and break the concentration of the Indian batsmen.

Ravi Shastri is the correct Choice to speak on behalf of team!!!,because he was the manager when India played in more hazy conditions.

More trouble. Sri Lanka don’t have a seamer left with Gamage and Lakmal both going off. Manager out. Ravi Shastri out (and he isn’t the manager!). Not good

Ravi Shastri came and told the umpires animatedly, “Agar khel ruka toh abse fokat ki daaru pi lena fir.” That scared the hell out of the umpires, they are starting the play now.
