IPL 2018: Dinesh Karthik Asks Shah Rukh Khan For A Favour & He Comes Up With A Heart-Winning Tweet

IPL 2018: Kolkata Knight Riders are left with two more games in the league stages — against Rajasthan Royals and Sunrisers Hyderabad

Shah Rukh Khan, the co-owner of Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), was left extremely heart-broken when his team lost the Indian Premier League (IPL) Match Number 41 against Mumbai Indians (MI) by 108 runs. Being the boss, he was so displeased that he publically said that the loss was due to ‘lack of spirit’. This indirect bashing perhaps became a catalyst for Dinesh Karthik & Co as they came back strong and defeated Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) in the very next game by 31 runs.

This victory was essential for KKR in many ways. Firstly, they kept their chances to qualify for the playoffs alive. Secondly, this very victory turned out to be successful to make the owner, SRK, happy. Delighted by his team’s performance and their way of gaining back the spirit, King Khan took to his social media handle and came up with a message which he dedicated to captain Karthik.

The forthcoming week is going to be crucial for teams like KKR, MI and Rajasthan Royals (RR). While KKR is at the 4th position with 12 points, MI and RR are just behind with 10 points each. Their performance in the leftover games is going to script their IPL campaign as losing a game here may lead to an exit from the tournament.
