IPL 2018, DD vs RCB: Fan Jumps Off Security In Kotla To Click Selfie With Virat Kohli

IPL 2018, DD vs RR: Meanwhile, the game was halted for a while and the entire episode wasn't aired by the broadcasters on the television

Earlier in this season of the Indian Premier League (IPL), we have seen fans going crazy to watch MS Dhoni closely. Bothering least about the tight security deployed at the stadiums, it happened on three different occasions that a fan has entered the field to seek his blessings or offer some gift. A similar situation happened on May 12 when the Royal Challengers Bangalore were playing the Delhi Daredevils at the Feroz Shah Kotla stadium.

While the RCB were chasing a huge total of 182 runs, skipper Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers were at the crease. During the fifth over, a fan breached the security cover at the stadium and rushed directly towards the crease. As he wanted to click a selfie with Virat, he took this big risk.

It was for the first time when Virat had to experience the insanity of a fan, that too, during a live game. Earlier in this season, 3 different fans breached the security to enter into the field and sought Dhoni to touch his feet. On April 20, May 3 and May 5, such instances were caught on the camera which later went viral on the social media.
