IPL 2018: Danielle Wyatt Challenges Rashid Khan On Twitter, Wants To Hit Him For A Six

Will Danielle Wyatt be able to do what world-class batsmen have struggled to do against Afghan prodigy Rashid Khan

Afghanistan leg-spinner Rashid Khan is one of the most exciting talents in world cricket at this moment. Rashid once again showcased his talent bowling for Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) against Mumbai Indians (MI) by bowling 18 dot balls in his 4-over spell. The 19-year-old got the Man of the Match Award for his impressive bowling figures — 1 wicket for 13 runs.

England’s woman cricketer Danielle Wyatt who is known for proposing to Indian skipper Virat Kohli on Twitter  revealed that she will hit Rashid for a six. Wyatt responded to a tweet posted by Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) after Rashid’s match-winning performance.

Rashid took his time and then replied to Wyatt. The leggie will be bowling for Sussex County Club in County Championship 2018.

Wyatt also known for her witty posts accepted the challenge and then posed another one by adding a hashtag interpreting that she will hit him for a six.

The England opener was on India’s tour for a tri-nation T20I series followed by a three-ODI series. She impressed everyone by hitting a century (124 runs) in a T20I game against India that too with the bat Kohli gifted her earlier.

The 26-year-old also revealed that her favourite IPL team is Royal Challengers Bangalore. However, it seems like her loyalties might shift to SRH as the tournament progresses.
