Fanny packs, velvet clothes and other 90s trends that are here to stay

'90s showed us embroidered denim, colourful hair and the best one, it taught us pick-and-mix clothes and styles.

Believe us or not, when we talk about fashion, the ’90s was everything. It gave us embroidered denim, colourful hair. And the best bit? It taught us how to pick-and-mix clothes and styles. From maxi to minimalism and grunge to glamour, this was the time to experiment. Ramps were much more creative in ’90s. Remember, those chokers and brown lipsticks? They are still as elegant as it was then. After Hollywood supermodels like Kendall Jenner, Gigi, and Bella Hadid, now even Bollywood stars like Kangana Ranaut and Anushka Sharma have brought back the most stylish ’90s trend in 2017. So, there you go!

High-waisted jeans

Jeans have always been and will forever remain a classic. If one trend goes, another is there to take over. And high-waisted jeans aren’t exactly a new trend, it was popular in the 90s. They were the best thing happened to those with a bit of belly fat. Adorned with multiple buttons and ripped at just the right place, these jeans are perfect to wear anywhere anytime. So, actresses like Athiya Shetty, Deepika Padukone, and Ileana D’Cruz were spotted wearing these recently.

Fanny packs

Fanny packs have made their way back this year. The major fashion brands like Louis Vuitton, Alexander Wang and Gucci have revived the fanny pack or popularly known as a bum bag, waist bag and belt bag. These brands have come up with a designer revamp of the bags and even celebrities like Rihanna, Jared Leto, and Katie Holmes have been spotted carrying them. Not just convenient companion, bum bags hold all the essentials without being bulky. Of late, Jacqueline, Kendall and Rock were seen carrying it too.

Overalls

It seems overalls will never lose their charm. Stores still have them and we still love to wear them. Though we see different variations and a variety ways to style them, they are not going anywhere again. From Alia Bhatt, Sunny Leone to Kangana Ranaut, we have seen every actor sporting it like a boss.

Velvet clothes

Velvet is definitely not going anywhere any soon. Remember how everything was velvet — from blouse to skirts, even jeans? Well, the fabric is back in vogue and people are loving it. Recently, Siddharth Malhotra, Anushka Sharma and Deepika Padukone were sported wearing velvet dresses. Check out here:

Chokers

Well, we are over those black tattoo chokers which were serious hazards, chokers are still here. However, this time they are delicate and dainty. And the most popular one is the one with several layers.
