Hillary Clinton loses despite heavy endorsement from celebrities worldwide

Could all the endorsement from celebrities worldwide for Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump have affected the outcome of the US Presidential Elections 2016?

With the amount of support, she gained worldwide, Democratic Presidential nominee Hillary Clinton’s victory seemed inevitable. Even a majority of celebrities who had come out and spoken about the US Presidential elections chanted the words “I’m with her”. But, even with all that support, it seems that Hillary Clinton’s campaign isn’t exactly “Stronger Together”.

Both nominees from the Democrat and the Republican Party gave each other a tough competition. Although it seemed inevitable that Hillary would emerge as the winner, Donald Trump made a startling comeback and overtook Clinton many a time in the race to the White House. Ultimately, it was Trump after all.

Celebrities had picked their sides long ago and used their positions to campaign for their choice for the President of the United States. Tila Tequila, Jon Voight, Hulk Hogan and Gary Busey were some of the few who supported Trump’s campaign. Interestingly, Alec Baldwin’s younger brother, Stephen Baldwin, also supported the Republican party. Let me remind you that Alec Baldwin mocked Trump on Saturday Night Live (SNL) along with Kate McKinnon, who played Clinton. Turns out, she is a supporter of her campaign. The celebrities’ endorsement was heavier on Hillary’s side

Apart from McKinnon, most other popular celebrities rallied after Hillary Clinton. Lady Gaga, Amy Schumer, Elizabeth Banks and many other supported her campaign. Some others like Katy Perry and Miley Cyrus even did door-to-door campaigning for Clinton. Queen Bey and Queen of pop were not far behind. While Beyoncé gave a surprise performance highlighting Clinton’s feminist policies at Jay Z’s Cleveland concert, Madonna offered blowjobs to anyone who voted for Clinton while opening for Amy Schumer at Madison Square Garden.

Using her own head for a change, Reality TV star Kim Kardashian went against Caitlyn Jenner’s political views to support for Hillary.

Clinton’s campaign garnered support from all over the world with even English singer Adele chiming in and telling her fans, “don’t vote for him”. “I can’t vote but I am 100% for Hillary Clinton, I love her, she’s amazing,” she said. She further added that whatever happens in America, affects her too and some of the Bollywood celebrities nodded their heads in agreement. Salman Khan, veteran actor Kabir Bedi, Rishi Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor all endorsed Hillary’s campaign and wished for her victory.

Quantico star Priyanka Chopra maintained a neutral ground and motivated people to simply vote and gets their voices heard.

In the end, I think it is safe to conclude that their efforts and their support, it all meant nothing against Trump’s “charisma”.
