Sanaya Irani and Barun Sobti made for one of the most loved pairs on Hindi TV. The love story between their characters, Khushi Kumari Gupta and Arnav Singh Raizada in Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon, was admired by the viewers. In fact, such was the popularity that the makers even decided to have the show back as web-series on Hotstar.
Now the news has it that the show is coming up with its third season and Barun will once again be seen as the male lead in it. It should also be noticed that the actor will be seen on small screen after a long hiatus of five years with Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon 3. Sanaya Irani says she cannot hold back her excitement to see him back in action. The actress who is married to Mohit Sehgal and is seen in Nach Baliye 8 talked about the same and said:
“I am really looking forward to season three and what the storyline shapes up to be. Barun has been one of my most favourite co-stars and continues to be an amazing friend even today. Now that he’s back on TV, I’m really excited for him. Barun is a crazy person and I wish him all the craziness and good luck for the third season.”
In the third season of the show, Barun will be seen opposite Shivani Tomar. The serial will beam on Star Plus channel soon. More details are awaited.
