Today in crazy-but-legendary: Donald Trump ‘drove’ a truck, made memes great again

Donald Trump, the Cheeto-in-Chief currently ruining the goodwill Barack Obama earning from the press, and mango people across the globe has done it again. He came, he posed and he became a meme. Ever since taking oath as the 45th President of the United States of America, Trump’s had a spot of trouble grasping the nitty-gritties of the job. It is almost as if nobody told him that being POTUS does not primarily involve tweeting and posing for photo-ops.

The issue at hand today is Trump’s meeting with truck drivers and the executives of the American Trucking Association (or as POTUS calls them, ‘truckers and trucking industry leaders’).

It was an honor to welcome so many truckers and trucking industry leaders to the @WhiteHouse today! pic.twitter.com/M1veooVBNE

There are reportedly over 3.5 million professional truck drivers in the US. What’s come out of this seemingly routine meeting however are images of Trump sitting on an 18-wheel semi truck looking straight out of Mad Max: Fury Road. In the video cheeto-POTUS has shared on Twitter, there’s quite a bit of enthusiastic teeth gnashing and animated fist pumping in a stationary truck.

The internet, sometimes known to make lemonade even without lemons, this time had enough to go on. The result? A lot of passive aggressive memes that are guaranteed to bring a smile to your face.

If there is one thing everyone left, right, far to the left, far to the right, far off in general can agree upon, it is that as long as Donald Trump’s the President of the US, this is the sort of news we will have to routinely contend with.
