Whenever you ask a friend about how a movie was, they are bound to mess it up. They will always leave out some or the other essential detail and suddenly, it sounds like a completely different movie altogether. Well, people on Twitter took it a but further. Taking up the task to “explain a film plot badly” with the constraints of 140 characters makes you look at a movie in a completely different manner.
What is even more interesting that while it certainly changes our opinion of the movie a little bit, making us see the things we might have missed, it is far from an inaccurate explanation of the plot.
The trend picked up on Twitter as people came up with hilarious summaries of popular movies, shared with the hashtag #ExplainAFilmPlotBadly. So, from The Lord of the Rings to Fifty Shades of Grey, here is a list of people 13 movies explaining so badly, it actually turned out to be a laugh riot!
