Bored of old emojis? Now you can use your own face as an emoticon!

The app has got crying-laugh emoji, the kissy-face emoji, the devil emoji, happy and sad emojis

Facetune has come up with the new app that is called Memoji, through which photos taken can be transformed into a customise emoji.

Also this app will be free for iOS and the users will be able to accessorize the animated GIFs which can be used while texting or putting photos or posts on Twitter and Instagram.

With the Memoji, users can come up with short animated images (GIFs) of themselves and accesorize them with emoji-like accessories such as tears, cat whiskers, middle fingers and many more.

It was launched on Friday, and will provide emoji treatment to any photo taken from camera and also on the ones which are uploaded. It provides various number of emojis, some of which are crying-laugh emoji, the kissy-face emoji, the devil emoji, happy and sad emojis, a nauseous emoji, heart-eyes, sunglasses, smoking nostrils, and the unicorn emoji.

Nir Pochter, chief marketing officer of Lightricks, in a statement said, “Emojis have become a part of everyday conversation and guide the way we chat and share our emotions, but the overall reach and impact of this important technology is limited. As emoji connoisseurs, we knew that the next level of societal emojification was letting it guide the photo editing process from the very start. People want more than to just send emojis, they want to be emojis. While the world is busy applying AI to silly ventures like autonomous vehicles and data analysis, we’re taking it to where the need is greatest – making us more sophisticated emotional beings — emojis.”
