Bolting Past Gravity: Usain Bolt Proves He Can Win Any Race In Any Dimension

Usain Bolt can sprint in any condition, literally!

Eight-time Olympic gold medallist Usain Bolt took the challenge of racing in zero-gravity and nailed it. The competitors were not international athletes but racing in zero-gravity is no joke (though the video looks quite funny). The Jamaican rolled over during the race but still managed to sprint to the finish line first.

The 32-year-old did not go into the space to record the video. It was a modified Airbus 310 plane in Vatry, France.

Here’s how Bolt described his experience while talking to Reuters TV,

“I was nervous but as soon as the first one (parabola) goes you kind of go ‘oh my God, what’s happening’. But after the third one I was like ‘yeah, it’s crazy’,”

Post-retirement from athletics, Bolt is adamant on becoming a professional footballer. At this age, footballers are usually heading towards hanging their boots in a few years but Bolt is obviously not an ordinary human. Having broken 100 meters and 200-metre race world record, the Manchester United fan wants to make it big on the football field.
